A Coalport china plate bearing a central portrait of Hobbs, encircled by bats and stumps, each containing details of one of his hundred first-class centuries. The design is completed by a border of balls and bails and edged in gold.

Diameter 23cms. Preserved in silk-lined presentation box. Good condition.
LIMITED EDITION of 500 plates. Produced to commemorate Hobbs's 100th first-class century, scored in 1923. Hobbs played for Surrey between 1905 and 1934, and for England between 1908 and 1930.
